Optional contractor introduction agreement
This agreement is optional. The default pilot does not use it. During the pilot, CageCompass emails matching pros the job details only, then emails the homeowner the contact details of pros who are interested. The homeowner chooses whom to contact. That path is free: no contract and no card. This agreement applies only when a homeowner asks CageCompass to let your company contact them directly.
It is between CageCompass and the legal business named in a separately signed copy. A listing, a job-summary email, an inquiry, a link visit or a paid placement does not create this agreement and does not enroll a company. CageCompass does not verify licenses. You are responsible for any license the work requires and for your insurance. Homeowners are told to check licenses on the Florida DBPR license search.
Use only a direct-contact request the homeowner approved
Job-summary emails do not include the homeowner's name, email, phone or address. Do not ask for those details, and do not contact the homeowner, unless the homeowner asked for your company to contact them and CageCompass has checked that approval. Use any details only for the stated project. No resale, transfers, other sellers or unrelated marketing. A homeowner's permission for CageCompass to email them is not permission for your company to contact them.
Contact rules
These rules apply only after a homeowner has approved direct contact from your company.
- Contact the homeowner by phone or email about the stated project. This approval does not authorize automated calls, prerecorded messages or marketing texts.
- Call only from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the called person's local time zone.
- No more than 3 calls in any rolling 24 hours about the same request, counting every agent and originating number together.
- Before any call, check federal and Florida Do Not Call lists and your own suppression records where the law requires it.
- Honor STOP and every other reasonable withdrawal immediately, stop contact and notify CageCompass. Do not require one specific opt-out channel.
Evidence and privacy
Keep the named-company consent flag, exact disclosure, version, receipt time and original approval record supplied with each direct-contact introduction. Keep that evidence for 5 years subject to applicable obligations, protect personal data and promptly cooperate with privacy requests. Keep your own licensing and insurance current.
Responsibility and suspension
The contractor is an independent business responsible for its work and communications. To the extent permitted by law, it will defend and indemnify CageCompass against third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from its breach, unlawful contact, misuse of data or misconduct; this excludes CageCompass's own unlawful acts, negligence or misconduct. CageCompass may suspend direct-contact introductions for complaints or violations. Contact suppression, privacy and evidence obligations survive. No volume of requests, price or completed job is guaranteed.
Ask for a copy to sign through business inquiries. Keep signed copies privately. Submitting an inquiry alone does not create an agreement.
